As of July 30th, 2025, HHC (Hexahydrocannabinol) has been officially classified as an illegal drug in Ireland. The Department of Health has added HHC to the Misuse of Drugs Act, making it a controlled substance that can no longer be legally sold, possessed, or supplied.

This change reflects a broader shift across Europe, with countries like France, Sweden, and the UK already taking similar action. HHC, a semi-synthetic cannabinoid derived from hydrogenated THC, was widely used as a legal alternative to cannabis. While many users found it effective, the synthetic nature and lack of regulation around HHC raised increasing safety concerns, prompting this ban.

No HHCP or THCP Only Natural Products

In response to the ban, some companies are now pushing other synthetic cannabinoids such as HHCP and THCP. These are stronger than HHC, but lack proper research and pose significant unknowns.

We have decided not to stock HHCP, THCP, or any other synthetic cannabinoids. HHC was the only compound in this category that we believed offered a comparable, balanced experience to CBD and THC. Without it, we will stay focused on natural and legal hemp-derived products.

CBD Live Resin Carts – Containing Natural THCA

Our current alternative is the CBD Live Resin vape cartridge range. These are made using indoor-grown hemp, processed through cold extraction methods to preserve the full spectrum of cannabinoids and terpenes.

These carts contain trace amounts of THCA, a non-psychoactive compound that naturally converts into THC when heated. THCA is naturally present in hemp, and within legal limits, it provides a fuller, richer experience without breaching regulations.

Available now on site: clean, compliant, and high quality. All of our products are:

100% natural and hemp-derived

Legally compliant in Ireland and the EU
Tested for potency, purity, and safety

We remain committed to offering the highest quality cannabinoid products in the Irish and European markets. With the HHC ban now in effect, we continue focusing on natural alternatives that deliver compliance and satisfaction.
