If your Puffco Peak Probis is flashing red and white, it’s signalling an error that needs attention. Whether it’s a battery issue, connection problem, or sensor malfunction, identifying the root cause can help you get your device back up and running. Below are the most common reasons your Peak Pro might be blinking red and white, along with troubleshooting steps to fix it.

Battery Issue

A flashing red and white light may indicate a low battery. Try these steps:

Connect your Peak Pro to its charger using the official Puffco charging cable.
Wait until the device is fully charged before using it again.
If the blinking persists after charging, try a different charging cable or adapter to rule out charging issues.

Connection Problem

Loose connections can trigger the red-and-white blinking pattern. Check the following:

Ensure the atomiser is properly attached to the base.
Remove and reattach the glass top securely.
If the issue persists, clean the connection points with isopropyl alcohol and a cotton swab.

Atomizer Malfunction

Your Peak Pro may be blinking due to an atomiser issue. To troubleshoot:

Remove the atomiser and inspect it for damage or buildup.
Clean the atomiser with isopropyl alcohol and allow it to dry completely.
If cleaning doesn’t work, you may need to replace the atomiser.

Overheating

If your device overheats, it may enter safety mode, triggering the flashing lights.

Let your Peak Pro cool down for at least 10-15 minutes before using it again.
Avoid taking multiple back-to-back hits at high temperatures, which can cause overheating.

Firmware Update Required

The blinking red and white lights sometimes indicate a firmware update is needed.

Open the Puffco Connect app and check for any available updates.
Follow the app’s instructions to update your device’s firmware.

Charging Error

If your Peak Pro is not charging correctly, try:

Using a different USB-C cable and a trusted power source.
Cleaning the charging port to remove dust or residue.
If the issue continues, contact Puffco Support for assistance.

Software Malfunction

A software glitch could be causing the red and white blinking lights. Try the following:

Turn off your device and restart it after a few seconds.
If the problem persists, perform a factory reset following Puffco’s official reset instructions.

Sensor Error

The Peak Pro has built-in sensors to regulate temperature and airflow. A malfunctioning sensor could cause the error lights.

If you suspect a sensor issue, contact Puffco customer support for further troubleshooting.

Warranty Issue

If none of the above solutions work, your Peak Pro may have a hardware defect.

Check if your device is still under warranty.
Contact Puffco Support or the retailer where you purchased it for a possible replacement or repair.

Replacing the Atomizer

The atomiser may be faulty if the red and white blinking lights persist.

Purchase a replacement atomiser, such as the Puffco Peak Pro 3D Chamber, and install it.
This often resolves persistent issues related to connectivity or heating.

Reset the Device

A reset can help resolve firmware or software-related errors.

Check your Puffco user manual or contact customer support for reset instructions.
