123CBD Mailing-list update

As some of you know we were using mailchimp as a Mailing-list provider for the last two years.

Mailchimp is No Longer Our Provider!

Mailchimp was a third party company we used to email people that willingly signed up to receive updates on news, coupons, offers and to stay up-to date on all things CBD. Out of the blue mailchimp emailed us to say:

The content associated with your industry conflicts with our Acceptable Use Policy or presents a significant risk to our deliverability.

We emailed mailchimp to advise that the CBD products we sell don’t cause any risk and would it be possible to reinstate our account. They emailed us back to say they would not be commenting and will not reinstate our account. It is such a shame because as a CBD company we come across so much negativity towards our industry, we never thought mailchimp would let us down.

Email Octopus to the rescue

After searching the web we found a company called Email Octopus. We reached out and they were super quick to respond and answer all our questions. They love and work with many Cannabis company’s and we’re only delighted to have us on board! We are delighted to say that we found a company that can offer everything we need. Our site is no longer connected to MailChimp, but you can still signup. This week we will be then re-sending you all a link  to be part of the new Email Octopus list so we can contact you with our special offers and discounts. We don’t spam, only lovely offers and updates on new arrivals to the CBD products and flowers we sell.
