How does CBD work?

CBD supports a system in our bodies called the endocannabinoid system or ECS for short. This system is responsible for making sure our mind and body function properly. Our body produces compounds called ‘Endo cannabinoids’ which work together with your ECS. Both working together help regulate your mood, sleep, liver function, pain management, muscle formation and bone growth, inflammation and our immune response, stress management, skin and nerve function, cardiovascular function and cognitive functions such as memory and learning. As you can see the ECS is involved in most of our essential functions! Your ECS can be thrown off track or made to feel overworked, and we end up feeling the negative effects. Like with everything our ECS can benefit from a little support.

If you take occasional doses of CBD oil at different times throughout the month, this could render it ineffective. CBD can take from 1-4 weeks to show any kind of result, each person is different.

The recommended dosage of CBD is 35mg a day. What should be taken into consideration when deciding your dosage is your age, gender, metabolism. Each person is different and only you know your body.
